This takes place on Saturday the 18th of May 2024 at 9am – 1.30pm.

This workshop is aimed at beginners who wish to incorporate a regular qigong practice into their lives. This routine will help increase your vitality and boost your immune system. It will help to heighten your senses, sharpen your focus and prepare your body to reach it’s optimum performance.

You can adapt this routine to fit into your day, no matter what time you have available. If you have lots of spare time, or wish to make the time available, you could complete the whole routine every day for maximum benefit. If you’re short on time, you could choose a few exercises to practice through the week and complete the whole routine at the weekend, or a day off when you have more time.

Sifu Simon Hepple will guide you through the various exercises of this routine. The routine consists of warm up exercises. These stretch and open up channels in the body. There are main qigong exercises, to replenish, balance and revitalise your body and mind. Also cool down exercises to relax, settle and store your replenished energy reserves.

We’ll also discuss the physiological effects of the exercises on the body. How the internal organs can respond to moving in a certain way. You’ll learn the Traditional Chinese Medical theory of the meridians and how they are related to the movements of the exercises.

During the break there will be the opportunity to sample some refreshing teas. The price includes a delicious, nutritious lunch at Love Dosa.
