Sifu Hepple awarded the level of Jo Gow by Master Yee Chi Wai (2005)

Sifu Hepple (Sifu Level, 4th Dan) began his martial arts training at an early age. He tried Kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do and various other martial arts but it wasn’t until he moved to Aberdeen and found Sifu Clark‘s Hung Ga Academy that his training really kicked off!

“From the moment I first walked into my Sifu’s Mo-Kwoon (school) I realised that I had found what I had been looking for. The level of knowledge and camaraderie amongst students was something I had never experienced before in other martial arts schools.”

In 2005 Sifu Hepple passed his Jo Gow (black belt.) In early 2012 he opened his own school in Inverness and in 2014 attained the level of 4th Dan Sifu. He is 6 generations from the legendary Chinese folk Hero Wong Fei Hung

“One of the great things that I love about Hung Ga is that there is always more to learn. When you learn something new, you can apply it to your existing knowledge. This can lead to new, exciting discoveries in your training. It is constantly evolving and changing. It never stagnates.”
